Some couples tell me "we want the ceremony short and quick!" However, the ceremony is the MOST important part of the entire day (in my humble opinion) and so by incorporating a meaningful reading makes for a tad bit more interest.I will post different readings over the next few weeks, for your consideration. If one strikes you, share with your honey, and then advise your officiant that you'd like it included into the service:
In Marriage
In marriage, walk the path together, side by side whenever possible. Remember to hold each other when it is cold. If the air becomes too close, make a little space so each can breathe. When the path is narrow, pick one to go first. Always be willing to follow; don't be afraid to lead. Trust your partner; trust yourself, for marriage is a journey that leads to great love.

Rather than numbering the tables, we names each table with Ireland counties.

Quinn (center above) and all the tartan clad groomsmen joined me in a pose, and showed off their footwear.
Hummmmm, do you wonder what is worn under the kilt? Courtney appears to be trying to answer that question!
I'll post a few more detail shots tomorrow, in Part 2.
Laura contracted with me in January, and it will be a pleasure to work with Laura & John on their wedding plans - event date is September 4, 2010. Laura is a petite blue-eyed cutie pie and John is a tall "man's man." In fact, the first time I met John he was a little put off, as a football playoff game was happening and Laura was dragging (ah, I mean inviting) him to look at wedding venues. I set him down in the country club bar so he could catch a little of the game.
This sweet couple decided on marrying at the stunningly beautiful Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, and hold their reception in the beautiful Sacramento Grand Ballroom.

Carnival food was served - tray passed mini hamburgers and vegie sticks in ranch dip (the vegies were an attempt to be somewhat healthy since the buffet included corn dogs, mac & cheese, mozzarella sticks and four styles of French fries) Lordy, Lordy!

And what carnival doesn't serve popcorn? We set up 5 containers each containing a different flavor. Believe it or not, the favorite might have been the cheddar cheese flavor!
